Hi, I’m Christian. I am a strategic human centered designer with a focus on Service Design and digital UX.
I seamlessly transition between defining the overall customer experience framework of an organisation to detail design and implementation of individual touchpoints within that system.
My applied in-depth expertise covers
- project management and creative leadership
- strategic concept development
- facilitation & design thinking
- organisation & conduct of user research
- digital & analog prototyping
- organisation & conduct of user tests
- service & system design
- platform agnostic UX & digital interface design
- art direction
As design lead I co-define the hiring strategy for the team across all levels and assess applicants through interviews and design exercises. As mentor I support individual talent development and facilitate alignment between team and management.
After 8 years of experience as Interaction Designer I am currently on a sabbatical to pursue a MA in Service Design at the Royal College of Art London where I explore the intersection of Innovation, Business and Human Centered Design.
Shaping Design through push.conference
Next to being a design practitioner I also take an active role in developing the digital design discipline by organising push.conference.
The annual event brings together digital professionals aiming to design compelling interactive experiences in the shape of products, apps, websites and installations, inspired by user needs and enabled by creative use of technology and critical thinking.
push.conference is a 2-day event with 600 attendees, founded in Munich in 2012. The lineup features speakers from IDEO, Mozilla, BMW, Google, Bosch, The Guardian, Vimeo, MESO, Art+Com and more.
A complementary series of full-day workshops throughout the year offers concrete teaching on topics such as multi-platform interface design, prototyping, design sprints or web animation.
I am a co-founder and direct the companies’ development as CEO and Head of Curation ever since the foundation in 2012.
